Here's a list of Features Currently built into the Upcoming Release of WebOS 1.6.0. I haven't decided on a release date as of yet, since much of the System is still in development, however here's a list of what's been done so far, and what you can expect from this next release:

That's right, there's a new WebOS version on it's way!!!
Now if you're a user of or have been following the WebOS Development Topics here on the site you're probably wondering, what happened to Version 1.5.0?!!!
Well Version 1.5 went into development, and through out the development process so many changes were made to the system, that it was scrapped and development on version 1.6.0 started, using many of the new features in 1.5.0 that were developed. So what's new in version 1.6.0?
WebOS SE: New Installer in Development

For about the last month or so, I've been building a new Web-based installer for the New Version of WebOS. Most poeple would argue, why build an installer, when there's no application built?
Well, I'm building the Installer first to ensure that 1-It works and 2-there's not going to be much difference in this version of the installer, or the final version (which has yet to be done).
I've also slimlined the installation process, as Version 1.X users know the installer, while intuitive can be confusing, I'm not duplicating anyhting from the version 1.X installer, which is why I've begun with this first.WebOS SE: Laying the Foundation

I've begun building the newest version of WebOS, and have concluded it would be best to offer it in three overall flavors, each offering different available features. The Three Editions of WebOS SE are the following:
Lite Edition | Standard Edition | Enterprise EditionNow I'm sure some of you out there are rolling your eyes thinking, "Great now he's turning into Microsoft." I want to ensure you, I'm not, however I've gotten feedback in the past that not all Features should be released as opensource... Hmmm.
WebOS SE :: The Conceptual Scope

I've been coping with the thought of WebOS SE. The reason why I say coping is because in my mind there is a great deal of things I want to enable the system to do and use. Below are my inital thoughts on the development of the SE Version:
