My Name is James Harvey, and I've been developing Websites since 1992. I've had a big learning curve in that time, learning new methodologies, new standards and learning different languages to program in. You see, when I started Web Development, there were three primary server-side Languages: C, Perl and Python. ASP and Other Languages were around too, but the big type of scripting was cgi-scripting.

I'm a self-taught Developer, and I'm not out to shun any one who's gained education in this field. I went to College for my Masters in Computer Science and Multi-Media Design, with (at the time) Three (3) years of experience in the field, only to be told by my professors that I had more experience then they did. I've had a fairly successful career as a Web-Developer (I really dislike label like Designer and Programmer), and it's my mission to offer you my experience and dedication that I've aquired through all these years to you the Web Developer, The Website Owner, or those who want to become more web-saavy.

I've also dwelved into the IT-side of things, as I've Managed and Administration Windows Servers, Linux Server and Macintosh-based Servers and workstations. I have an entire area on my site dedicated to WebServers and Operating Systems. I was also reminded recently that I'm also well versed in Website and Webserver Security as well.
